Our Story

The Meditation space has become noisy and confusing over the recent past.  Mediation has become a very generic term and it has become complicated and conflated with guided meditation, apps and even some confusion as to its place with religion - none.   After returning to living in the states, Mary recognized the confusion and frustration many shared about their experience.  Knowing that a mediation practice is available to everyone once they have the mechanics and tools to meditate, we set out to bring this to the working professional.  We know that everyone has busy lives and their own personal challenges and therefore our goals are to help each person find their path to making mediation enjoyable and simplistic.

This won’t work for me, I can’t stop thinking about things?

Experts estimate that the mind thinks between 60,000 – 80,000 thoughts a day. That's an average of 2500 – 3,300 thoughts per hour or 55 a minute. Other experts estimate a smaller number, of 50,000 thoughts per day, which means about 2100 thoughts per hour or 35 a minute.  That is a lot of thoughts and the beautiful thing about the meditation you will learn is you don’t need to quiet them; they will naturally be what they need to be.

What tools or apps do I need to be successful?

None. The practice I teach works anywhere and you need nothing except a comfortable place to sit.
